Tele2Fipho

Tele2Fipho is a 2 channel version of our established TeleFipho wireless fiber photometry system. Tele2Fipho has 2 different headstage types - the "-2P" headstage for two position recording, and the "-2C" headstage for two color recording.

In "-2P" headstage, you can collect wireless photometry signals from two separate positions, by specifying the length and interval of the dedicated dual cannula when ordering,. It is suitable for recording from bilateral hemispheres or afferent / efferent two brain regions, etc., in a freely moving mouse.

"-2C" headstage has two independent light paths dedicated for green indicator (e.g. GCaMP) and red indicator (e.g. R-GECO), respectively. For recording both green and red signal from the same brain region, please specify the interval of the dual cannula as "0mm", so that the two optic fibers are bundled together and can pick most proximal signals. You can also record from two separated positions with different colors (one for green and the other for red), by using the non-bundled dual cannula as in the "-2P" headstage.

Tele2Fipho receiver receiving wireless signal from the headstage is connected to a PC via USB to visualize the 2 channel photometry signals in real time. The reciever has 2 channel analog output so the photometry signals can be recorded in an external data acquisition system as well.
